And I'm Waiting for You

Description

-

Through the storm we reach the shore.
You give it all but I want more,
And I’m waiting for you…

With or without you…
With or without you…
I can’t live,
With or without you…

And you give yourself away…
And you give yourself away…
And you give…
And you give…
And you give yourself away.

My hands are tied,
My body bruised, she’s got me with
Nothing to win and
Nothing left to lose…

With or without you…
With or without you…
I can’t live,
With or without you…

The original photo and all rights to it are (c) the talented and beautiful :iconzemotion:

The same day I uploaded a drawing of her newest photo ([link]) she uploaded no. 2 in the series – so of course I had to draw that one too

It’s very tempting to just spend the rest of my life drawing Zemotion's photos -- when I see her photos (and especially when I draw them) I feel like I’m living out every emotion she manages to display. It’s addicting

I tried two new techniques; I moved my desk closer to my window, so this was made in a ‘different’ light (which my eyes haven’t adjusted to yet), and I started this drawing by firstly drawing the hair instead of starting with the eyes like I normally do.

The first drawing in years I’ve had to draw twice (because I gave up on the first try and threw it away) ^^; And it's most certainly one of the hardest drawings I’ve drawn so far. I think it’s the angle of the eyes... I screwed up so bad :( (and my scanner killed it too...)

OBS: This is NOT edited in some photo-software program. This is a pure scan of the original drawing -it's only worsened by my stupid scanner- and it’s completely touch-free. I really hate when people automatically assume I've used Photoshop (or a similar program) to edit the details and contrast of my drawings. Just a little notion before anyone asks.
