Yuki, the vocalist of the Japanese band Anjyu'

I like Anjyu' because they are (as a part of a newer movement of Visual Kei - basically Japanese glam rock - called Oshare Kei) all about being cute, crazy and so very colorful How they use para-para (choreographed hand-dancing and pose-striking, for lack of a better description) all the time, it’s so happy-go-lucky
And to me he’s so wonderfully sweet and cute

I thought I needed to draw something happy after a while of emotional drawings, and it was nice drawing something fairly easy for a change (by easy I don’t mean successful, no).

I had to draw his eyes in the same “colour” – I’m sorry but I cannot stand when people wear two coloured lenses. It disturbs me it wasn’t that bad in this though, as he had just taken on a contact on his left eye to make it a lighter shade of brown than the other so all I really had to do was darken it a little and make the other one a little lighter.

Oh, and I tried to draw his hair in a less hay-ish quality than on the photo – what do you expect from hair coloured in four-five different colours anyway? It doesn’t look bad at him at all, but on the drawing I think it would have, so I just tried to smoothen it out more.

It makes me so sad that I cannot find their music anywhere (except for like eight songs). If anyone has got it and wouldn’t mind sharing I would be forever grateful I really love their music and I hate having to use a webpage to hear it till I can raise the money to buy their albums.
