I’ve never had such a feeling,
Such a feeling of complete and utter love,
As I do tonight;
There’s nobody here,
It’s just you and me.
And it’s where I want to be,
But I hardly know this beauty by my side;
I’ll never forget
The way you look tonight.
I love you.
before saying anything else, I just want to clarify that I got a new scanner and I can’t for the life of me get it to work properly, so this scan is beyond sucky – his skin looks all grainy and rough (which it is not
), and there’s absolutely no details in the hair whatsoever… I will upload a new scan as soon as I figure out how to use this Satan’s-minion machine
(/Xia), solo artist and a member of the Korean band JYJ (and formerly of DBSK)
Junsu’s my all-time favorite Korean singer (his voice makes me literally melt<3 and never have anyone’s songs made me cry as easily as his do, nor has anyone’s smile ever made me smile like his does<3), and he’s all I've been listening to the last… four-five months. Life’s been really stressful these last six months, with school and exams and everything, and I haven’t had time to draw anything – in spite of how much I’ve wanted to every single day. It’s been positively horrible, so for the last couple of weeks I've been getting up at 4:30 AM every morning to draw a little before leaving for school
I took a lot
of liberties with this – I changed the color of his shirt (and the texture of the fabric), because I thought the sheer contrast would work better than the shiny, light material his shirt was made of in the reference photo. I also made it a little more fluffy-looking, because… well, because I could
I also changed the shape of his ear (for personal reasons), and made some shades lighter, and some darker, than in the reference photo. About half of this (especially the hair) was made in freestyle without the reference at hand…
Lastly, several people have commented on the bias of my gallery (it’s pretty much Japan-centric
), so I've decided to change that. I’m not only inspired by Japanese artists, though they will always be my first love, and I want to show the world that, so expect a lot more Korean (and Chinese) artists in the future, too~OBS:
This is NOT
edited in some photo-software program. This is a pure scan of the original drawing -it's only worsened by my stupid scanner- and it’s completely touch-free. I really hate when people automatically assume I've used Photoshop (or a similar program) to edit the details and contrast of my drawings. Just a little notion before anyone asks.
