Hi everyone~ :manhug:

I just want to let you all know that I am very sorry my activity on dA has been so sporadic this last year (maybe even years, so rude of me) :( I have a lot going on in my life due to my chronic illness (I suffer from a severe nerve disorder so it's doctors, operations, PT and meds on repeat - I actually just had surgery in my elbows six days ago), and I am currently fighting to finish my Master's degree too (only two semesters left now, yay!). And then of course life also happens all the time. Ugh. So sadly I have very little time, mental surplus and the actual physical strength to draw these days, but I miss it a lot and I know I will make my way back to it<3

In short, I promise I will make a comeback soon and upload a lot of new drawings for you all to see~ :manhug:

(Oh, and a little shameless self promotion of course: if you follow my facebook page, you will see WIPs of the drawing I'm currently fighting to finish^-~)

Thank you all so much for your support, your favs and your sweet, encouraging comments. They mean the world to me~

I hope you make a speedy recovery my friend! I know how you feel about missing drawing; I myself have little to no time to draw anymore. I spend just about everyday doing work for school (I'm working on my second Bachelor's Degree-down to just three quarters left!) and when I do get time to myself, my hands ach so much that all I can do sit and wait for the aching to stop. I look forward to seeing your future work and your recovery! Take your time! =)

Again, thank you for being so kind to me :) <3

Sorry for taking so long to reply back!

Its so frustrating not being able to use my hands for long periods of time, especially now that I am in my last quarter of school (thank the lord because I swear the Art Institute is the most backwards school known to man:angry:)! But soon I will be free!!

I WANT TO draw or color but by the time I'm done with homework, all I can feel is the throbbing of my hands and the tendon I pulled in my arm. :( (Sad)

And no problem--your such an nice person and your work has always inspired me to get better at my own. One day we shall return to drawing...but until then we will be cripples together! .: giggle :.

I've been following your account for many years. Even before I had this account I think. I've been gone for some time but I remember your art and a little of your posts when you started to have problems. I went to art school and struggled with a chronic illness as well. I know how hard it is to just not have the energy or strength. I will officially graduate my undergrad a year late because my grades fell during finally getting a diagnosis. I'm glad you haven't given up on drawing! Sometimes as an artist you go back and look at things you used to rave over and think "Wow, that wasn't very good XD" But your work is still just as beautiful and you continued to improve =) You have a real talent and I'm sure you worked hard to get there. You deserve as much rest as you need. Try not to let the insatiable itch to draw impede your healing XD

Thank you so much for your kind and inspiring words :manhug: I am really honored that you have been following me for that long, and I just saw you liked my facebook page too, thank you so much :blushes:  And I am very sorry to hear that you struggle with a chronic illness as well. Go you for fighting through it and working towards getting your undergrad in spite of it all! I know you can do it, even if it's a year late. I too, has been delayed in my studies because of my illness. I used to study another subject, for another undergrad title, then had to drop out because I got too sick. So I am a few years late too, but what counts is that I'm doing it in spite of my pains and conditions. Same goes for you :) We shouldn't see failures, only success  (though I know how hard it is to think like that, and I'm not very good at it myself, but I do try). But... ugh, not letting the insatiable itch to draw impede my healing is just so damn hard... xD But I promise I will never give up, and I hope you don't either<3 Thank you again<3

You're very welcome! Thanks! When I first started my break from school I got too excited with too much guitar and drawing personal projects too, got some tiny tears in my arm muscles to make it worse. I try to sit still and not draw but it takes about 30 seconds to go mad hahaha! The curse of artists!
